From Steve:Hard to believe that it’s been 40 years since I attended the Class of 1974’s ten-year reunion, and I’m sad to see that some familiar names are no longer with us. I spent over 30 years in the oil patch, most of those in Land Administration, before transitioning into retirement at the beginning of the layoffs in 2015. I lost my wife of 33 years, Lexie Pakulak, from complications arising from kidney failure in 2016. Since then, I moved to Cochrane and am slowly moving forward. I did a lot of travelling around Alberta during the pandemic, and look forward to reconnecting with friends and family in other provinces.

From Ken:Just Retired after 18 years with Princess Auto. Married to Jerry for 45 years last summer. We have 2 grown children and 2 beautiful grandchildren. We enjoy travel, and recently spent a month in PuertoVallarta. We also like road trips on my Goldwing 1800, and look forward to more travel now that we are retired.

From Nancy:Here I am, almost 45 years after graduation. We have 9 grandchildren and are fortunate to have them all nearby. Photo taken a couple of years ago only shows 7 of them! Guessing we will have to find a convenient time to photograph our family of 17 if you can imagine.
Life in my 60's is rewarding, busy, and still an adventure that I celebrate with my husband, Kevin.

From Brenda:Hi,

After 30 years as an HR professional, I took a slightly different route and returned to China. We were here in 2002-2004 and another opportunity came up last year to work with an international school. My main focus is creating original course content for the school though I still teach 6 hours a week.

Splitting time between China and Calgary is great - missing the winters in Calgary and the horribly hot humid summers in Shanghai is an ideal situation.

Life has has been full of travel, adventures, and a happy family life. I look forward to seeing familiar faces at the reunion. Brenda
